Privacy Policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

Draft for design. Replace the bracketed details and have the final policy reviewed before launch.

ADHDictate is built to do as little as possible, and that includes with your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

ADHDictate is run by [Company name], [registered address]. If you have a question about this policy, email privacy@adhdictate.com.

What we collect

  • Voice recordings. When you tap Talk, we record what you say so it can be turned into tasks.
  • Your tasks. The text of each task and whether it's done.
  • Your plan. Whether you're on Free or Plus. Apple handles payment, so we never see your card details.
  • Crash reports. Basic, anonymous diagnostics, only if you've allowed them in your iPhone settings.

What we don't collect

We don't use advertising trackers, we don't sell your data, and we don't build a profile of you.

How recordings become tasks

[Describe where speech is processed (on device or on a server), which provider is used, and how long recordings are kept. For example: your recording is sent securely to our processing partner, turned into text, and deleted within 24 hours.]

Sync on Plus

If you use sync, your tasks are stored securely so they appear on your other devices. [Storage provider and region.]

How long we keep things

Your tasks stay until you delete them or clear completed tasks in Settings. If you sign out and ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within [30] days.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Email privacy@adhdictate.com and we'll reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

ADHDictate isn't intended for children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the app.
